Hardware

It just works.

"It is simple, rugged, reliable, convenient, affordable."
- Eric R. Dietz, California State University-Chico, Dept. of Physics

The i>clicker hardware system, comprised of our unique 6-button remotes and the instructor’s receiver kit, works just as seamlessly for classes of 13 as it does for classes of 1300. i>clicker is used in many of the largest lecture halls across North America as well as some of the smallest primary-school rooms. Whatever the size of your class or group, i>clicker is always effortless and always dependable.

What makes our hardware so special?

  • No Wi-Fi interference. i>clicker operates at 915 MHz and will never interfere with Wi-Fi technologies, including Wi-Fi internet, cell phones, and wireless microphones among others.
  • No delays or voting collisions. Students are impatient and want results immediately. With i>clicker, they receive vote confirmation more quickly and accurately than any other system available. Votes are received and confirmed in less than .01 seconds, processing up to 750 votes per second.
  • No need to share class voting data before you’ve seen it. Our unique i>clicker receiver contains an LCD screen that instantly displays vote distribution—giving you a preview of the results and allowing you to adjust your lecture accordingly.
  • Exceptional reliability. i>clicker remotes have a defect rate of .0007%, outperforming the industry average by 5-10%, and the receivers are also exceptionally reliable, with a defect rate of .0125%.  We back the i>clicker remotes with a standard one-year warranty and replace any defective receivers immediately.

Feel free to scan the of our two-way radio frequency response system, or drill into the details of the remote and receiver for information on individual components.
